Congrats emily and chloe!!!!

Congrats to Emily Sprouse and Chloe McCardle on Earning their Bronze Award!

For the past two months Emily and Chloe have helped: cook, clean, and serve a free community dinner, pick up and deliver food to local food banks, along with cooking and serving dinner for Tent City 3, and made all of the residents hats to keep warm. They continue to serve the community and have started to make blankets and hats for the homeless people who stand on street corners.

On May 20th, 2009 two girls from our own troop were acknowledged for earning the highest achievement a Junior Girl Scout can earn: the Bronze Award. The Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can earn, requires her to learn the leadership and planning skills necessary to follow through on a project that makes a positive impact on her community. Working towards this award demonstrates her commitment to helping others, improving her community and the world, and becoming the best she can be.
